Ana’s father is Canadian jazz musician Jimmy Greene. He told Daily Mail that he couldn’t find the words to express the grief that he’s feeling.Jesse’s father Neil Heslin told the New York Post that he dropped his son off at school that morning and planned to return in the afternoon to join parents in the holiday tradition of making gingerbread houses.
Grace, who was also killed, has been described as “utterly adorable” and “full of life.” She has big blue eyes and bright blonde hair — she was often compared to a doll because of her stark beauty. Her parents are said to be going through “indescribable” pain.

On Dec. 14, President Barack Obama addressed a shaken and frightened nation, speaking not as a politician, but as a fellow parent. Overcome with his own grief, he had to take a moment to regain his composure and wipe tears from his eyes. “Tonight Michelle and I will do what I know every parent in America will do, we will hug our children a little tighter.
